The Cleaner

Before I started my shift at the galleries I had been designated to invigilate, I checked to see if everything was okay.  When I noticed this dark stain on the floor, I wondered if it was part of the floor or if something was stuck on it.  Maybe, I'll ask the cleaner to have a look later.

I gave the matter no further thought and sat down to do some paperwork. 

Suddenly, I noticed the cleaner walking towards me. I asked him to check what the stain was. He then used a tool he was carrying to scrape whatever it was off the floor.

Considering there are so many galleries in that museum, only God could have inspired the cleaner to walk through the galleries I was looking after with exactly what was needed. 

Thank you, God, for always working in, through and with me. ❤️

 A few days ago while I was grocery shopping, I wondered if I should get some bananas, but I decided not to as they don't last long. That's why I only buy a banana when I fancy one in that moment.  I got red grapes instead which last a lot longer. Yesterday, I didn't see my flatmate as I was already in bed by the time she got home. This morning when I went in the kitchen, I noticed my flatmate had left a note on the kitchen top for me to have these two bananas. I immediately gobbled one up. On Being the Light of the World

"You are the light of the world." Matthew 5: 14 ---- I was booked to work as a steward at  this huge concert hall I've worked at before.  Usually after I am booked at a venue, I check what kind of concert or event it is. This one was a two day Christian conference promoting a course I've actually been on. There were going to be speakers and delegates from all over the world. Two days before the Christian conference, I was booked at a music venue I've never worked at before, but have always been curious about. When I checked who the band was, I discovered there were going to be several bands playing extreme metal music that promised to be very "dark."  I was going to cancel that booking, but  I remembered Jesus told believers that we "are the light of the world" which means we are to be the light for everyone, everywhere.  Also, God has not given me the spirit of fear.
