History is Repeating Itself
On the morning of the 10th September 2O25 (GMT), I posted the following Bible verse on my Facebook page. "That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun." Ecclesiastes 1: 9 Later in the evening on my way back from work, I saw the news headlines that Charlie Kirk had been murdered. While I didn't follow his podcast, I knew he was a fellow Christian. I felt very sad to hear about it. My heart went out to his family and loved ones. I was reminded of Stephen in the Bible, who was very passionate about his faith in Christ. He got stoned to death after sharing his testimony. Before Stephen died, he cried out, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin!” (Acts 7: 60).
