Walking with God

I find it amazing how the photo below of earth, taken from space, looks so perfect. From space, you can't see any of the negativity going on earth such as wars, famine, sickness, suffering and death. I believe when God created the earth, everything was perfect before the "fall" of mankind. God then sent His begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem mankind from their sins. Now God sees those who have accepted Jesus's salvation just like the way earth is seen from space - beautiful, good, lovely, perfect, pure and whole. ❤️ ----- Relevant Bible verse: "For we know in part and we prophesy in part. While I was in town, I popped into the National Gallery to see some paintings. That gallery is really massive and full of visitors and I can only take in a few paintings at a time.  To help me recover from information overload, I went to sit on this comfy sofa near the information desk. I then noticed someone had left their reading glasses near where I was sitting. When I went to hand them in at the information desk, I recognised the woman at the desk as someone I worked with two years ago at a museum with the largest collection in the world.  What a wonderful surprise!  I've often wondered how she's doing. Now I know. Thank you, God, for answering my question. ❤️ Some photos I took before information overload.

Thowback. Remember when we all had to stay indoors for months at a time during lockdown?   As you can see from these photos, it was business as usual for nature. On the bus, I noticed this woman carrying a baby girl that looked maybe between 8 months and a year old. I told the woman the baby had perfect eyebrows. The woman said the baby has her mum's  eyebrows. (She was the baby's aunt). I said I hoped the baby's eybrows stayed that way. When I was a lot younger, I had perfect eyebrows. Aa I got older, I started plucking them so I could give them a new shape. I've even had them threaded several times.  I have seen women who shave their eyebrows and then use eyebrow pencils to draw their eyebrows. We obviously know better than our Creator, right? 😆 ----- Relevant Bible verse: 'I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works,And that my soul knows very well." So I went to do a shift at this art gallery. The last time I worked there was about three months ago. As soon as this permanent staff saw me, he gave me a hug. He told me I had a glow and was looking lighter. "What moisturiser are you using?" he said.  "You know me, it's the Lord. He is my glow." Although my colleague seemed to accept what I had said (as he believes in God too, though he's a Muslim), later he asked me again what moisturiser I was using for my skin. I reminded him again about my faith in my Lord Jesus Christ. The same colleague once told me I was looking "snatched" for a woman my age. At the time, I had no idea what he was talking about as I don't speak GenZ. He told me it meant attractive. While I do use moisturiser, I believe my beauty comes from the Holy Spirit living in me. While I was at this park, I was overwhelmed not just by the beauty of the trees and nature, but by gratitude for God, the Creator. I felt grateful for my health and strength to be able to walk;  grateful for my senses to enjoy the park and environment; grateful to be living in an area where I have three beautiful parks within 15 minutes walking distance.  Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤️ ------ Relevant Bible verses: "Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! So I bought a scoop of salted caramel ice cream and sat down to enjoy it. After I finished, I remained in the same spot basking in the sunshine. When  I spotted this wasp hovering, I said to him, "Mr Wasp, can I have a photo?" "Of course, Miss," he said. "Do you mind if I have your leftovers?" "Help yourself!" While my little friend was licking the tub, I took his photo. I love wasps, they are such delightful creatures. ❤️

I got my eyebrows tidied up today. Even though I've had my brows threaded lots of times, I still tense up while they're being done as I find threading painful. The lady threader was a real expert and did both in less than 5 minutes. The things some of us do to look good. 😂
