Walking with God

While I was at this park, I was overwhelmed not just by the beauty of the trees and nature, but by gratitude for God, the Creator. I felt grateful for my health and strength to be able to walk;  grateful for my senses to enjoy the park and environment; grateful to be living in an area where I have three beautiful parks within 15 minutes walking distance.  Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤️ I haven't noticed before how the bough of this tree extends across the path.  It's as if it's reaching out to shake hands with the other trees. 😊 Grovelands Park.

Since I gave up the notion of having my own personal life and accepted Christ as the only life (Colossians 3: 4), I now understand that His Life covers everything I need to enjoy life now and forever. Christ's Life includes abundance, blessing, deliverance, forgiveness, freedom, grace, healing, joy, love, peace, perfection, protection, provision, redemption, relationships, salvation, truth, wholeness and wisdom. For instance, two days ago, my flatmate texted me to let me know they had been given food at work and she was going to bring me some chicken noodles. She even brought me some chocolate cake.  In other words, the food I received from my flatmate is Christ's Life as provision. I had half of the cake and kept the other half and the chicken noodles in the fridge. Today  I had the chicken noodles and cake and it was delicious. On this podcast, this music producer was being interviewed about his music. They discussed how his music has changed over the years and how the way people consume music has also changed because of technology.  However, the producer's passion for making music hasn't changed. It got me thinking of the paradox of God, the Creator, the source of all creativity. On the one hand, God never changes, and on the other hand, He is forever new. In other words, God's attributes are changeless, but the way He expresses His attributes are always new. The Bible teaches us that His mercies are new every morning. (Lamentations 3: 22-23) That means God's infinite attributes are constantly being expressed through His children in new ways.  Imagine that!  Every day, God is expressing through us new blessings, new ideas, new life, new light, new joy, new love, new peace, new revelations, new wonder...etc. What a wonderful God we have! ❤️ ----- Relevant Bible verses: "Through the Lord’s...
