Walking with God

"And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him." Genesis 5: 24

Apart from Jesus, the Biblical character who has fascinated me the most was Enoch.

It is written, Enoch walked so closely with God that God ended up taking him and he never experienced physical death.

I wanted to be like Enoch and walk with God or learn how to. That's why I took on his name, but made it a feminine version - Enocia (pronounced Enoch-ya).

I could never walk with God without God's help. I believe it was He who put the idea in my head in the first place.

Thank you, God, for walking with me every step of the way. ❤️

An Easy Day

Before I went to work at this museum, I thanked God for an easy, fun and wonderful day. Half of my time was spent working in the gallery, where I was invigilating, and in the shop serving customers.  Although it was really busy with a constant flow of visitors and kids, I found it easy as God was working in me and through me My work colleagues were also very nice and helpful and I enjoyed working with them. I also enjoyed chatting to the parents and their kids. While I was tidying up an area of the gallery, I found this soft toy and I gave it to a colleague to look after. Later, I saw this boy sitting in the cafe with his mum and sister. I noticed he was carrying the toy I had found in the gallery. I told him I was glad he got his toy back. I asked him how old they were, he was six years old  and his sister was ten. The boy said his birthday was on the 27th December. I told him my nephew's birthday was also on that day. Letting Go of Grievance

Last night while I was working at  this concert, most of the guests I met were friendly and polite, but there was one particular guest who was challenging. After the event finished, I reported the experience to the duty manager and let it go, or so I thought. When I woke up this morning, the guest was still in my head. I asked God to help me let go of any grievance I was holding. I was reminded of Ephesians 4: 31-32.  Thank God for the Bible, which has the answer to every problem we have in this world. ❤️ ----- Related Bible verses: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
