About Beauty
So I went to do a shift at this art gallery. The last time I worked there was about three months ago.
As soon as this permanent staff saw me, he gave me a hug. He told me I had a glow and was looking lighter.
"What moisturiser are you using?" he said.
"You know me, it's the Lord. He is my glow."
Although my colleague seemed to accept what I had said (as he believes in God too, though he's a Muslim), later he asked me again what moisturiser I was using for my skin.
I reminded him again about my faith in my Lord Jesus Christ.
The same colleague once told me I was looking "snatched" for a woman my age. At the time, I had no idea what he was talking about as I don't speak GenZ. He told me it meant attractive.
While I do use moisturiser, I believe my beauty comes from the Holy Spirit living in me.
Thank you, God, for giving me Your beauty. ❤️

Relevant Bible verses:
"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." 1 Corinthians 6: 19- 20
"Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." 1 Peter 3: 3-4
