Harmless Fun, Not!

When I went to work at this particular museum, I was happy to see a work colleague as I had been hoping to give her some Star Trek badges I thought she would appreciate, as she's also a huge fan of Star Trek. She was very grateful.

Later, while we were still in the staff room, the same colleague came in wearing a black pointed hat and a black gown.  It was then I realised it was the Halloween season. If I had remembered, I would have cancelled that booking.

My colleague told me as it was half-term, the museum had been very busy. They had been doing Halloween activities for kids. Another colleague came in wearing an orange pointed hat.

At the staff briefing, the events manager told us about the Halloween events taking place.

Later, I told two colleagues that I don't see Halloween as harmless fun as I know these demons are real and people are summoning them. I told them I have been attacked by demons before and one of them was around the Halloween season. I said at the time, I was more annoyed that the demon had woken me up from my sleep. The demon only left me when I called on God to help me.

While I was doing my job directing visitors around the museum and to different events, I was secretly reminding myself that Christ is in me, expressing through and always with me.

Later, I went to sit in the staff kitchen to have my lunch. Suddenly, I heard something falling. I noticed it was this huge fake candle.  As I didn't know where it had come from, I picked it up and placed it on top of the fridge. A few minutes later, another candle fell. I picked it up again and placed it next to the other one.  A few minutes later, a third candle fell down. This time, a colleague was in the kitchen and he was startled. I told him that's what you get for messing about with demons.

I wasn't scared as I have Jesus in and around me and I believe He has already destroyed the works of the devil (1 John 3: 8)

When I told one colleague, who was wearing a witch's hat, about my experience, he laughed and said he must have been using his telekinetic powers on me.

I enjoy going to Star Trek conventions and dressing up in costumes. That, for me, is harmless fun.

Jesus is Lord. ❤️
