God's Protection

I was so sorry to hear about the train collision in Bedford (southeast of England), which killed the driver and injured many passengers. May God comfort the driver's family and loved ones and pour His healing grace on those who are injured.

As someone who is constantly travelling on public transport - buses, tubes (underground trains), trains - I do so with the constant awareness that I move in Christ who is my constant protection. He is the one in control of my journeys.

God bless all those involved directly and indirectly in the collision.

Before the children's show I was working on started, my colleagues and I were in the foyer welcoming parents and their kids, directing them to the theatre and showing others where to park their buggies.  I noticed one colleague was speaking to this man.  She told us the man said after he gave his Bible to a homeless man, God told him to come to this arts centre and get a Bible.   Why would God send him to an arts centre that specialises in music, drama and dance? I suggested he could download a Bible app, if he needed instant access to a Bible. I even recommended an app I use, but  the man was adamant that God had told him to get a Bible at this arts centre. Jesus Heals

As Christians, we are the light of the world (Matthew 5: 14) and we are to shine the light of Christ wherever we are and glorify God.  One time while I was working on this TV project as a supporting artist aka extra, I started experiencing loss of vision, symptom of a migraine attack. I hadn't had one in many years. I told a friend I was working with how I was feeling. She offered me medication, but I declined. I told her I needed to take time out to pray. I then quietly reminded myself that "By His stripes I am healed." (Isaiah 53: 5)   After about fifteen minutes, my vision was back to normal and there was no headache.
