Oneness with Christ

At the museum I was working at, I noticed these two men who were wearing similar glasses and looked almost identical.

"Are you twins?" I said.

"Most people think that, but we're not," one said.

"Are you brothers?" I said.

"No."

"How come you look so similar?"

"We've known each other since primary school and we've been best friends since then."

"That is so sweet," I said. "Nice talking to you."

The two friends reminded me of married couples who have been together for so long they look like brother and sister.  They are effectively one person inhabiting two bodies.

I believe the moment I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Saviour, I entered into a Divine Marriage with Him. All that I am and have belongs to Jesus and all that Jesus is and has belongs to me. I live in Him and He lives in me and is always with me.

As my relationship with Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, grows deeper, I become more like Him, not in physical appearance, but I embody His Life in my spirit, soul and body.

Back to the best friends at the museum, I believe they look like each other because they have developed a long relationship sharing the same values.

Thank you, Jesus, for giving me Your everlasting life. ❤️

Before the children's show I was working on started, my colleagues and I were in the foyer welcoming parents and their kids, directing them to the theatre and showing others where to park their buggies.  I noticed one colleague was speaking to this man.  She told us the man said after he gave his Bible to a homeless man, God told him to come to this arts centre and get a Bible.   Why would God send him to an arts centre that specialises in music, drama and dance? I suggested he could download a Bible app, if he needed instant access to a Bible. I even recommended an app I use, but  the man was adamant that God had told him to get a Bible at this arts centre. While my colleague continued to chat to the man, I focused on welcoming guests to the arts centre. Finally I saw the man holding a Bible. The Three Times

I have observed that there are three times - consensus agreement time, cultural time and God time. I was working as a host at this Bhangra concert. The official start time or consensus agreement time was 7.30pm. We kept reminding fans that the concert was about to start, but most of them paid no attention because they expected it to start late i.e. cultural time. There was this last mnute rush to get them in and show them to their seats. After the concert started, we were asked to only let fans in at the end of each performance, so we had to listen out for the applause. Some latecomers couldn't understand why they had to wait. While I was at the door, I explained that it is our policy to keep them waiting so we don't disrupt the performance.
