Love is Forever

I love taking photos of trees, which I have been sharing on a Facebook group for fellow lovers of trees.

After taking another photo, I went to share it on that group, but there was a notice stating that the group had been paused and not allowing anyone to post or leave comments. We could still browse photos. On further investigation, I discovered that the admins of the group were leaving. Members were invited to apply for the vacant admin roles within a specific time frame or the group will be paused and deleted. By the time I saw that post, the deadline had already passed, not that I was interested in th admin role. I decided to create a folder and save my trees posts in there as I didn't want to lose them.

That Facebook group represents this world, where everything is temporal. You can't put your trust in that which is here today and gone tomorrow.  

The folder I have created to store my posts about trees  represents Heaven where love is constant and eternal. I always have access to that everlasting love. 

Facebook groups come and go, but love is forever. ❤️

The Three Times

I have observed that there are three times - consensus agreement time, cultural time and God time. I was working as a host at this Bhangra concert. The official start time or consensus agreement time was 7.30pm. We kept reminding fans that the concert was about to start, but most of them paid no attention because they expected it to start late i.e. cultural time. There was this last mnute rush to get them in and show them to their seats. After the concert started, we were asked to only let fans in at the end of each performance, so we had to listen out for the applause. Some latecomers couldn't understand why they had to wait. Obedience

Before the children's show I was working on started, my colleagues and I were in the foyer welcoming parents and their kids, directing them to the theatre and showing others where to park their buggies.  I noticed one colleague was speaking to this man.  She told us the man said after he gave his Bible to a homeless man, God told him to come to this arts centre and get a Bible.   Why would God send him to an arts centre that specialises in music, drama and dance? I suggested he could download a Bible app, if he needed instant access to a Bible. I even recommended an app I use, but  the man was adamant that God had told him to get a Bible at this arts centre. While my colleague continued to chat to the man, I focused on welcoming guests to the arts centre. Finally I saw the man holding a Bible. Apparently, my colleague always carries a Bible with her which she has been studying. As she was speaking to the man she was inspired to give him her Bible. We were all am...
