Complete in Christ

I believe when our loved ones, who were believers in Christ, pass away they revert to a younger version of themselves and they are perfect  and whole in every way.

I'm reminded of a dream I had about three years after  mum passed away. In the dream she was looking a lot younger and all glammed up. She told me she was off to a party. I was really happy for her.

Today would have been my mum's birthday. I know she's with the Lord where she is full of joy and complete in Him. ❤️

In the words of Jesus:

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.” John 11: 25-26

Bananas

 A few days ago while I was grocery shopping, I wondered if I should get some bananas, but I decided not to as they don't last long. That's why I only buy a banana when I fancy one in that moment.  I got red grapes instead which last a lot longer. Yesterday, I didn't see my flatmate as I was already in bed by the time she got home. This morning when I went in the kitchen, I noticed my flatmate had left a note on the kitchen top for me to have these two bananas. I immediately gobbled one up. On Being the Light of the World

"You are the light of the world." Matthew 5: 14 ---- I was booked to work as a steward at  this huge concert hall I've worked at before.  Usually after I am booked at a venue, I check what kind of concert or event it is. This one was a two day Christian conference promoting a course I've actually been on. There were going to be speakers and delegates from all over the world. Two days before the Christian conference, I was booked at a music venue I've never worked at before, but have always been curious about. When I checked who the band was, I discovered there were going to be several bands playing extreme metal music that promised to be very "dark."  I was going to cancel that booking, but  I remembered Jesus told believers that we "are the light of the world" which means we are to be the light for everyone, everywhere.  Also, God has not given me the spirit of fear.
