What a Wonderful Surprise!

A week ago, as I was walking with a friend near the Tower of London, I thought of another friend from our agency who works there and wondered how she was.

Today, I worked at this museum. At one point, I came out of the exhibition gallery I was in to ask a colleague about procedures. When she turned round, I realised it was the friend I had thought about last week. After exchanging warm hugs, I told her I had been thinking of her.

How wonderful is that!

My friend said she recently lost her mum and had gone home. She said she only returned this week and this was her first shift.

At the end of my shift, I said goodbye to her and  I promised to text her so we can arrange to meet up for a proper catch-up. 

Thank you, God, for arranging that meeting. ❤️

Indiana Jones

Today, I was working as a host at three graduation ceremonies from the same university. At the end of each ceremony, the orchestra they had on stage played the theme song from the film, "Indiana Jones", composed by John Williams. By the end of my shift, I had that song stuck in my head. On the way home, I stopped at this restaurant to get some food then walked to the bus stop  As the bus I wanted got cancelled, I decided to travel a different route, which took a lot longer.  When I finally got home, I had a quick shower. I then turned on my laptop to watch some mindless TV on this film channel. Guess what film they had on? "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Very funny, God! 😂 Of course, I had to watch it again, even though I've seen it a zillion times. I never get tired of Indiana Jones films or that theme song. ❤️

Bananas

 A few days ago while I was grocery shopping, I wondered if I should get some bananas, but I decided not to as they don't last long. That's why I only buy a banana when I fancy one in that moment.  I got red grapes instead which last a lot longer. Yesterday, I didn't see my flatmate as I was already in bed by the time she got home. This morning when I went in the kitchen, I noticed my flatmate had left a note on the kitchen top for me to have these two bananas. I immediately gobbled one up. Thank you, God, for providing my bananas through my flatmate. ♥️ Photo of the note and bananas 😊
