My Taxi Home

I was working at this evening event co-hosting a corporate Christmas party. A few of us joined in the fun. We were even offered food, but I declined.

As our shift was finishing at 1.30am, the company had to provide us taxis home. Our duty manager booked  taxis for all of us to pick us up later.

At the end of our shift, my colleagues received texts telling them their taxis would be arriving in a few minutes, but my text read, "Your driver, xxxx, is here!" with the car details which read,  "Look for a MG HS Estate."  Those four letters reminded me of the secondary school I attended, which we nicknamed MGHS (Methodist Girls High School). When I told my colleagues about the letters, they teased me that it was meant to be.

The taxi driver also found it amazing. He  knew the area I lived so well I don't think he needed to use the GPS to get me home.

God's supply is ever present in the Here and Now.

Thank you, God, for a fun shift with lovely colleagues: and for getting me home safely. 😊❤️
