Joy Gives Me Strength
The work I do involves not only long hours on my feet, I am constantly in motion. As I am no longer a spring chicken, I am constantly thanking God for giving me His strength.
At one point, I reminded myself that I am full of the Joy of the Lord. I noticed I was almost running up the stairs, which I haven't done in a long time. I felt like I was in my 20s when I used to run up and down stairs.
The Bible teaches us that our thoughts and emotions affect our bodies. Joy, which is an aspect of the fruit of the Spirit, definitely gives me spring chicken energy. 😀
The joy of the Lord is my strength. ❤️
