On Being an Ambassador
Before we start working at a venue, we are briefed about the venue and what is expected of us. If it's a client that offers a long term contract, the client will ask qualified agency staff to go for formal training.
When it comes to the job, whether you're hosting an event or invigilating an art gallery, you are always representing both the client and your agency.
When you are representing the client or duty/event manager, you are there to ensure visitors have a great experience while still protecting the art, contents and venue. You also have the authority to implement the rules of the client.
In other words, you are the eyes, hands and feet of the duty/event manager. If you have any issues that you can't resolve, you have to contact the duty/event manager for advice, support or ask for their intervention.
When we are representimg our agency, we have to make sure we turn up on time, dress in the appropriate uniform and be professional at all times.
In the same respect, as a Christian I am Christ's ambassador. In other words, I am here to represent Christ.
Every born-again Christian has the Holy Spirit living inside of them. The Holy Spirit is like the duty/event manager who knows all the rules, has all the resources we need and can offer us constant help and support. We have also been given the Bible which contains all of God's rules. The Holy Spirit or Duty/Event Manager helps us implement these rules in every dsy life.
Everywhere I am, whatever I am doing, I am representing Christ by shining His Light and sharing His Goodness and Love.
Thank you, God, for making me an ambassador to bring heaven on earth. ❤️
