Easy Shift

After working four long days at this  open day, where I was standing most of the time, I was booked for another long day at this art gallery.  As I was told it was going to be another event, I was expecting to be standing all day. 

It turned out I was covering the lobby while staff were training. The art gallery was also closed to the public so only staff, builders and facilities team were going to be coming in and out. This  meant I would be sitting down all day except when I  had to go on my break.

At one point, I was thinking that I wish I had my phone charger and glasses case with me. Immediately, this guy from the facilities team came in. After introducing himself, he said if I needed a quick break, he was happy to cover me. I quickly went to get my charger and glasses case.

Our Father God truly knows all our needs and is constantly  providing them before we even ask.

Thank you, Father God, for providing an easy shift. ❤️

Indiana Jones

Today, I was working as a host at three graduation ceremonies from the same university. At the end of each ceremony, the orchestra they had on stage played the theme song from the film, "Indiana Jones", composed by John Williams. By the end of my shift, I had that song stuck in my head. On the way home, I stopped at this restaurant to get some food then walked to the bus stop  As the bus I wanted got cancelled, I decided to travel a different route, which took a lot longer.  When I finally got home, I had a quick shower. I then turned on my laptop to watch some mindless TV on this film channel. Guess what film they had on? "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Very funny, God! 😂 Of course, I had to watch it again, even though I've seen it a zillion times. I never get tired of Indiana Jones films or that theme song. ❤️

Bananas

 A few days ago while I was grocery shopping, I wondered if I should get some bananas, but I decided not to as they don't last long. That's why I only buy a banana when I fancy one in that moment.  I got red grapes instead which last a lot longer. Yesterday, I didn't see my flatmate as I was already in bed by the time she got home. This morning when I went in the kitchen, I noticed my flatmate had left a note on the kitchen top for me to have these two bananas. I immediately gobbled one up. Thank you, God, for providing my bananas through my flatmate. ♥️ Photo of the note and bananas 😊
