Demonstration

A few days ago, I received a text from a friend warning me to avoid central London on Saturday as there was going to be a huge demonstration from far-right protestors against "people of colour."

I had to go into central London for work not far from Trafalgar Square where there were going to be lots of speakers. Even though I walked down the side streets to avoid the crowd, I still met  many people on the way carrying English and British flags.

I wasn't scared as I know God is always with me and I walk in His Love.  I was even tempted to ask soneone if England was playing football. 😊

After work, I travelled on the tube home. I saw lots of people who looked like they'd been to the protest. At my stop, one guy with a northern accent said to me, "Do you want to get off, love?"

"Yes, please," I said.

He and his friend made space for me to get off and I thanked them.

God bless everyone, whether you consider yourself to be politically on the right or left. ❤️
