Resolving Work Issues
While I was discussing work procedures with a colleague, I didn't like the way she had spoken to me. I found her patronising and I was livid. I decided to speak to her about this later, as I didn't want to work in a toxic environment.
While I was welcoming guests, I asked the Holy Spirit for help how to deal with this issue. I immediately started thinking of the Fruit of the Spirit which are: love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patience), kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 5: 22-23) I reminded myself that because I have the Holy Spirit living inside of me, I have all those qualities inside of me.
By the time I saw my colleague I was feeling very peaceful. I thanked her for the advice she had given me earlier and said I would take it on board. For the rest of the shift, everything was harmonious between us. We even hugged at the end of the shift.
Thank you, Holy Spirit, for Your constant help. ❤️
