God’s Unmerited Favour

When I saw this event job going, I applied for it. The agency told us the client was going to decide based on our portfolios. I presumed the client was going to look at our photos.

As the event was for designers and fashion buyers, I thought I had no chance. I reckon they were probably going to pick very young and attractive staff to work at that event.

I couldn't believe it when I received a text from my agency asking me to let them know if I could work on one day. 

I decided not to go for it as I didn't want to work long hours in such hot weather.

I believe I receive opportunities not because of my qualifications  experience or looks, but because of God's unmerited favour.

Thank you, God, for your constant grace. ❤️

Indiana Jones

Today, I was working as a host at three graduation ceremonies from the same university. At the end of each ceremony, the orchestra they had on stage played the theme song from the film, "Indiana Jones", composed by John Williams. By the end of my shift, I had that song stuck in my head. On the way home, I stopped at this restaurant to get some food then walked to the bus stop  As the bus I wanted got cancelled, I decided to travel a different route, which took a lot longer.  When I finally got home, I had a quick shower. I then turned on my laptop to watch some mindless TV on this film channel. Guess what film they had on? "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Very funny, God! 😂 Of course, I had to watch it again, even though I've seen it a zillion times. I never get tired of Indiana Jones films or that theme song. ❤️

Bananas

 A few days ago while I was grocery shopping, I wondered if I should get some bananas, but I decided not to as they don't last long. That's why I only buy a banana when I fancy one in that moment.  I got red grapes instead which last a lot longer. Yesterday, I didn't see my flatmate as I was already in bed by the time she got home. This morning when I went in the kitchen, I noticed my flatmate had left a note on the kitchen top for me to have these two bananas. I immediately gobbled one up. Thank you, God, for providing my bananas through my flatmate. ♥️ Photo of the note and bananas 😊
