God Bless London

Today is the 7th of July. 

On this day, twenty years ago (2005), London experienced a series of terror attacks on the bus and on the tube (underground trains) killing 56 people.

On the morning of that day, my mum and I travelled by bus to visit her friend. I remember  all of us watching the news about the attacks on television.

As I travel constantly by bus, my Internet friends were really concerned abut me. I reassured them  I was safe.

My mum and her friend have long since passed away.

God bless all those who lost their loved ones in those attacks.

God bless our transport system.

God bless London and all Londoners.

Ps: My ten year passport actually expires today. When I receive my new passport, it will no longer have the 7th July date, it will have a new date..

Indiana Jones

Today, I was working as a host at three graduation ceremonies from the same university. At the end of each ceremony, the orchestra they had on stage played the theme song from the film, "Indiana Jones", composed by John Williams. By the end of my shift, I had that song stuck in my head. On the way home, I stopped at this restaurant to get some food then walked to the bus stop  As the bus I wanted got cancelled, I decided to travel a different route, which took a lot longer.  When I finally got home, I had a quick shower. I then turned on my laptop to watch some mindless TV on this film channel. Guess what film they had on? "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Very funny, God! 😂 Of course, I had to watch it again, even though I've seen it a zillion times. I never get tired of Indiana Jones films or that theme song. ❤️

Bananas

 A few days ago while I was grocery shopping, I wondered if I should get some bananas, but I decided not to as they don't last long. That's why I only buy a banana when I fancy one in that moment.  I got red grapes instead which last a lot longer. Yesterday, I didn't see my flatmate as I was already in bed by the time she got home. This morning when I went in the kitchen, I noticed my flatmate had left a note on the kitchen top for me to have these two bananas. I immediately gobbled one up. Thank you, God, for providing my bananas through my flatmate. ♥️ Photo of the note and bananas 😊
