God Never Stops Loving Us
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8: 28

I planned to attend the "God Loves You London Tour" with the American evangelist, Franklin Graham. It was meant to start at 6pm. I was hoping to get there around 6pm. My boss even let me leave work early which gave me enough time to arrive on time.
It was then the obstacles started.
First, all the tube lines I could have travelled on had severe delays. I decided to catch the bus into central London and then catch a train to the venue.
Second obstacle - the bus I needed to get to the train station terminated early. Apparently, it was because of some demonstration in town. I tried another route. While I was waiting at the bus stop, I shared the bus timetable with another passenger. We ended up travelling on the bus together and had a nice chat. Before I got off, I asked her name. It turned out she and I had the same name (my real name).
I then caught the train.
When we arrived at the venue, I encountered obstacle number three - the doors were closed. Security told us they were not letting any more people in as the hall was now packed full. A few of us argued with security to no avail. When I finally accepted they were not going to let us in, I started chatting to this woman and her family. I also shared some of my testimonies with her.
In the meantime, we noticed some people outside were now singing and praising God. We decided to join them. I even saw a colleague I used to work with and we exchanged hugs.
Finally, security let us in. By then the last perforner was on stage and we got to experience half an hour of worship music.
On the way to the hall, the woman I had been chatting to told me my testimonies were exactly what she and her family needed to hear as they had been going through a hard time. She didn't give me details. I told her God had obviously arranged for us to meet and inspired me to share those testimonies with her.
On the train home, I met a few Christians who had been at the event. We exchanged contact details as they live very close to me.
I believe God is always loving us and making things work out for good. As the "Way Maker" song they performed at the event goes, "even when we don't see it, He's working." What seemed to be obstacles - travel chaos and closed doors - were opportunities for me to love and make new friends. 😊
Praise God. ❤️
