God is So Good

When my flatmate came home from work, I told her I was waiting for the weather to cool down before going to the supermarket opposite to get some ingredients to make a sandwich for work.

After a while, I didn't feel like going out.  I decided to buy a sandwich on my way to work.

As I planned to leave home at 6am, I needed a store that opens very early. Our local supermarket doesn't open till 7.30am. I looked up the supermarket close to the tube station and discovered they are open at 6am. Aha, I'm going to get my sandwich from that store.

Sorted!

Right at that moment, my flatmate called out to me and asked if I wanted some smoke salmon to make a sandwich for work. I told her I didn't have any bread left. She offered me some of hers.

I made a delicious smoked salmon sandwich.

My flatmate also gave me a packet of crisps and a fruit and nut bar.

God is so good.

Thank you, Jesus! ❤️

Bananas

 A few days ago while I was grocery shopping, I wondered if I should get some bananas, but I decided not to as they don't last long. That's why I only buy a banana when I fancy one in that moment.  I got red grapes instead which last a lot longer. Yesterday, I didn't see my flatmate as I was already in bed by the time she got home. This morning when I went in the kitchen, I noticed my flatmate had left a note on the kitchen top for me to have these two bananas. I immediately gobbled one up. Thank you, God, for providing my bananas through my flatmate. ♥️ Photo of the note and bananas 😊

Indiana Jones

Today, I was working as a host at three graduation ceremonies from the same university. At the end of each ceremony, the orchestra they had on stage played the theme song from the film, "Indiana Jones", composed by John Williams. By the end of my shift, I had that song stuck in my head. On the way home, I stopped at this restaurant to get some food then walked to the bus stop  As the bus I wanted got cancelled, I decided to travel a different route, which took a lot longer.  When I finally got home, I had a quick shower. I then turned on my laptop to watch some mindless TV on this film channel. Guess what film they had on? "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Very funny, God! 😂 Of course, I had to watch it again, even though I've seen it a zillion times. I never get tired of Indiana Jones films or that theme song. ❤️
