Dailly Reminder of God's Love

I use the calendar on my phone to remind me of dates that are important to me and upcoming birthdays of loved ones.

Some dates only occur once and others occur every year forever.

So I thought, why not use the calendar to remind me, every day, of God's love, forever?

Now, every morning, I receive the following reminder:

God is good. (Psalm 100: 5)

God is love. (1 John 4: 8)

God is great. (Psalm 95: 3)

God is for me. (Romans 8: 31)

God is faithful. (1 Corinthians 1: 9)

Thank you, God, for being my everything. (John 14: 6; Philippians 4: 19)

Bananas

 A few days ago while I was grocery shopping, I wondered if I should get some bananas, but I decided not to as they don't last long. That's why I only buy a banana when I fancy one in that moment.  I got red grapes instead which last a lot longer. Yesterday, I didn't see my flatmate as I was already in bed by the time she got home. This morning when I went in the kitchen, I noticed my flatmate had left a note on the kitchen top for me to have these two bananas. I immediately gobbled one up. Thank you, God, for providing my bananas through my flatmate. ♥️ Photo of the note and bananas 😊

Indiana Jones

Today, I was working as a host at three graduation ceremonies from the same university. At the end of each ceremony, the orchestra they had on stage played the theme song from the film, "Indiana Jones", composed by John Williams. By the end of my shift, I had that song stuck in my head. On the way home, I stopped at this restaurant to get some food then walked to the bus stop  As the bus I wanted got cancelled, I decided to travel a different route, which took a lot longer.  When I finally got home, I had a quick shower. I then turned on my laptop to watch some mindless TV on this film channel. Guess what film they had on? "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Very funny, God! 😂 Of course, I had to watch it again, even though I've seen it a zillion times. I never get tired of Indiana Jones films or that theme song. ❤️
