Theme Song

When I saw Zeus (my flatmate's cat) standing near the kitchen looking sorry for himself, I thought he probably  didn't like the food he's been given, even though his mum feeds him a really good brand.

I picked him up. While I was giving him a cuddle, I sang to him:

"Why you look so sad

Tears are in your eyes

Come on and come to me now

...I'll stand by you, won't let nobody hurt you."

----

I then put him down and said, "Eat!"

He started eating.

Oh I see, you just wanted someone to make a fuss over you. 

I used to sing "The Most Beautiful Cat (Girl) in the World" by Prince to Zeus to cheer him up, but he doesn't seem to like that anymore; or maybe he wasn't impressed with my singing.  

I've decided from now on, "I'll Stand By You" (The Pretenders version) is going to be Zeus' new theme song. 😀❤️

Bananas

 A few days ago while I was grocery shopping, I wondered if I should get some bananas, but I decided not to as they don't last long. That's why I only buy a banana when I fancy one in that moment.  I got red grapes instead which last a lot longer. Yesterday, I didn't see my flatmate as I was already in bed by the time she got home. This morning when I went in the kitchen, I noticed my flatmate had left a note on the kitchen top for me to have these two bananas. I immediately gobbled one up. Thank you, God, for providing my bananas through my flatmate. ♥️ Photo of the note and bananas 😊

Indiana Jones

Today, I was working as a host at three graduation ceremonies from the same university. At the end of each ceremony, the orchestra they had on stage played the theme song from the film, "Indiana Jones", composed by John Williams. By the end of my shift, I had that song stuck in my head. On the way home, I stopped at this restaurant to get some food then walked to the bus stop  As the bus I wanted got cancelled, I decided to travel a different route, which took a lot longer.  When I finally got home, I had a quick shower. I then turned on my laptop to watch some mindless TV on this film channel. Guess what film they had on? "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Very funny, God! 😂 Of course, I had to watch it again, even though I've seen it a zillion times. I never get tired of Indiana Jones films or that theme song. ❤️
