Kindness

On the way to work, I stopped off at this  supermarket to buy a sandwich and a drink to have for my lunch. 

This paticular store is so tiny, they only have a one way system. On the way out, you pay for your stuff at the till.

I noticed one assistant was very kind to everyone and wished everyone a good day. I wished her a good day as well.

The next morning I was there, I was served again by the same assistant and she was very nice.

On day 3, I didn't see the assistant. This time, I was served by this man and I didn't get the same warmth from him. 

On day 4, I was back at the shop. I was pleased to see my friend was back. While she was serving me I told her I had missed her the day before as she is so lovely. She said it was her day off and thanked me for my kind words.

Kindness is one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5: 22)

It's amazing what a difference it makes when someone is kind. It changes the whole environment. 

I hope that store realises what a valuable staff they have there. ❤️
