God Saves the Last Drink for Me

After church, I went to our local supermarket to get some groceries.

Anyone who knows me personally knows how much I love V*mto (a mixed fruit drink). I usually get the purple concentrated one that I dilute with water.  I was disappointed that they didn't have the size I wanted in stock. They had it with low sugar, but I don't like those. They also had a jumbo size version of the  one I like, but it would be too heavy for me to carry. I could get the orange version, but I'm not too keen on that one. Suddenly,  I noticed behind the orange bottles, there was one purple version in the size I was looking for. 

How amazing is that? It was as if someone had deliberately hidden it there for me to find

Thank you, God, for saving the last bottle for me.❤️

An Easy Day

Before I went to work at this museum, I thanked God for an easy, fun and wonderful day. Half of my time was spent working in the gallery, where I was invigilating, and in the shop serving customers.  Although it was really busy with a constant flow of visitors and kids, I found it easy as God was working in me and through me My work colleagues were also very nice and helpful and I enjoyed working with them. I also enjoyed chatting to the parents and their kids. While I was tidying up an area of the gallery, I found this soft toy and I gave it to a colleague to look after. Later, I saw this boy sitting in the cafe with his mum and sister. I noticed he was carrying the toy I had found in the gallery. I told him I was glad he got his toy back. I asked him how old they were, he was six years old  and his sister was ten. The boy said his birthday was on the 27th December. I told him my nephew's birthday was also on that day. Indiana Jones

Today, I was working as a host at three graduation ceremonies from the same university. At the end of each ceremony, the orchestra they had on stage played the theme song from the film, "Indiana Jones", composed by John Williams. By the end of my shift, I had that song stuck in my head. On the way home, I stopped at this restaurant to get some food then walked to the bus stop  As the bus I wanted got cancelled, I decided to travel a different route, which took a lot longer.  When I finally got home, I had a quick shower. I then turned on my laptop to watch some mindless TV on this film channel. Guess what film they had on? "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Very funny, God! 😂 Of course, I had to watch it again, even though I've seen it a zillion times. I never get tired of Indiana Jones films or that theme song. ❤️

Jesus is Lord!

"...no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit." 1 Corinthians 12:3 ---- While I was relaxing in bed, I stretched one leg and I started feeling pain on my calf.   No, no, no! The pain quickly became a cramp. I called on the name of Jesus, but I could feel the pain getting worse. Just as I was about to get off the bed and put my foot down, I heard these words deep inside of me, "Jesus is Lord." I said the words out loud: JESUS IS LORD! The cramp immediately left my calf.
