Walking with God

This post was previously posted on my previous blog . ----- "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Galatians 3; 13-14 ---- While I was walking at Regent's Park, I could see BT Tower in the distance, which I used as my landmark to guide me to where I was headed. I know I'm headed in the wrong direction if I can no longer see any part of the BT Tower. It got me thinking of the cross that Jesus was crucified on. I believe the cross is a landmark that reminds me of the price Jesus's crucifixion paid for all humanity for all time. If I am ever feeling"lost" physically, emotionally or spiritually,, all I need to do is either think of the cross or look at a representation of the cross and I'm back on track. Thank you, ...

At the train station, I went to my favourite food store to buy a sandwich and some yoghurt. After I finished eating, I wondered if there was a bin close by to chuck the leftovers. I noticed a pigeon walking by. Aha, I could give it the crusts I haven't eaten. When someone walked by, the pigeon got startled and flew away. Nevermind! I'm sure I'll find a bin somewhere.  I went back to writing my email. Suddenly, I looked up and was amazed to see a station cleaner pushing a trolley full of rubbish. I asked him if I could put my rubbish in it and he took it off me. I said thanks. Thank you, God, for bringing the rubbish bin to me. ❤️

Brothers and sisters in Christ, please cover yourself and your loved ones with the Blood of Jesus to ward off evil. (Revelation 12: 11) As the Bible puts it: "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." I Peter 5:8 God bless you all with His peace. ❤️  ---- Relevant Bible verse: "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony." Revelation 12: 11

My ideal commute to work is when the train is almost empty.  Thank you, God, for providing transportation. ❤️

So I was thinking  about what to have for lunch at work tomorrow. As I was going to be working at two venues, I could wait till I've finished my first shift, then get a sandwich or something before I travel to my next job. After giving it some more thought, I let it go. I will decide in the morning. When my flatmate came home from grocery shopping, she told me she had bought me a chicken salad sandwich, which was on special offer. She said I could have it for lunch at work. I thanked her for the sandwich.  I knew it was God who had inspired her to buy the sandwich. I will take it to work with me. I might even have it before I go to work. Thank you, God, for Your constant provision. ❤️ ---- Relevant Bible verses: “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness...

I have observed  pastors and teachers are constantly interpreting the Bible through their filtering system i.e. through what they believe is possible. This morning, I was listening to a pastor on a Christian channel. As soon as I heard him twisting a particular verse to fit into his belief system, I switched off. That's why it's important to study the Bible with the Holy Spirit as your guide and teacher. Since He inspired the Bible, He reveals the truth as it is, not what you believe it is. Sometimes, the Holy Spirit will guide you to a particular teacher who He is using as His instrument. The Holy Spirit will also teach you how to use discernment, as there are many false teachings and false doctrines. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for being my guide and teacher. ❤️ ----- Related Bible verses: "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."  Sorry, Zeus! 😀❤️ (Zeus is my flatmate's cat).
