Indiana Jones

Today, I was working as a host at three graduation ceremonies from the same university.

At the end of each ceremony, the orchestra they had on stage played the theme song from the film, "Indiana Jones", composed by John Williams.

By the end of my shift, I had that song stuck in my head.

On the way home, I stopped at this restaurant to get some food then walked to the bus stop  As the bus I wanted got cancelled, I decided to travel a different route, which took a lot longer. 

When I finally got home, I had a quick shower. I then turned on my laptop to watch some mindless TV on this film channel. Guess what film they had on?

"Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."

Very funny, God! 😂

Of course, I had to watch it again, even though I've seen it a zillion times.

I never get tired of Indiana Jones films or that theme song. ❤️

An Easy Day

Before I went to work at this museum, I thanked God for an easy, fun and wonderful day. Half of my time was spent working in the gallery, where I was invigilating, and in the shop serving customers.  Although it was really busy with a constant flow of visitors and kids, I found it easy as God was working in me and through me My work colleagues were also very nice and helpful and I enjoyed working with them. I also enjoyed chatting to the parents and their kids. While I was tidying up an area of the gallery, I found this soft toy and I gave it to a colleague to look after. Later, I saw this boy sitting in the cafe with his mum and sister. I noticed he was carrying the toy I had found in the gallery. I told him I was glad he got his toy back. I asked him how old they were, he was six years old  and his sister was ten. The boy said his birthday was on the 27th December. I told him my nephew's birthday was also on that day. Letting Go of Grievance

Last night while I was working at  this concert, most of the guests I met were friendly and polite, but there was one particular guest who was challenging. After the event finished, I reported the experience to the duty manager and let it go, or so I thought. When I woke up this morning, the guest was still in my head. I asked God to help me let go of any grievance I was holding. I was reminded of Ephesians 4: 31-32.  Thank God for the Bible, which has the answer to every problem we have in this world. ❤️ ----- Related Bible verses: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
