God is My Decongestant

Yesterday, the media was full of warnings about  expected snow around the UK and how cold it's going to be this weekend. I ignored the doom and gloom warnings as I know where I truly live. (Acts 17: 28, John 17: 16)

Later, I received a text message from a friend urging me to stay indoors and keep warm.

In the middle of the night, I woke up with a blocked nose. I could see that while I've been asleep, the collective fear had crept in.

The last time I used cold and flu remedies was in the late 1990s. When I had a blocked nose, I would take a decongestant pill which would unblock my nose for a few hours and I would have to keep taking more pills.

Now I rely on God's Word as my medicine.(Proverbs 4: 22)

I reminded myself that I live, move and have my being in Christ. God is working in me, through me and around me. I then relaxed. I could feel God working in my nasal passage until my nose became clear.  I then went back to sleep. My nose was still clear when I woke up this morning.

Although it's been cold today, we have had no snow around where I live or anywhere in London for that matter. I had no intention of going out today anyway.

Thank you, God, for being my constant health. ❤️
