Followers of Jesus Still Alive

Note to self:

The wonderful thing about the Bible is there are always new revelations. Here's one I discovered recently from Matthew 26: 28.

"Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.” Matthew 16: 28, NKJV

"And I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Son of Man coming in his Kingdom.” Matthew 16: 28, NLT

"I assure you and most solemnly say to you, there are some of those standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.” Matthew 16: 28, Amplified

"I assure you that there are some here who will not die until they have seen the Son of Man come as King.” Matthew 16: 28, Good News

“Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.” Matthew 16: 28, NIV

Who are the "some" that Jesus was referring to?

They were Jesus's followers and right there with him during his ministry.

As Jesus only spoke the truth, this means there are followers of Jesus who are over 2,000 years old and still waiting for His Second Coming.

How amazing is that?

Where are they?  I would like to meet them. ❤️

An Easy Day

Before I went to work at this museum, I thanked God for an easy, fun and wonderful day. Half of my time was spent working in the gallery, where I was invigilating, and in the shop serving customers.  Although it was really busy with a constant flow of visitors and kids, I found it easy as God was working in me and through me My work colleagues were also very nice and helpful and I enjoyed working with them. I also enjoyed chatting to the parents and their kids. While I was tidying up an area of the gallery, I found this soft toy and I gave it to a colleague to look after. Later, I saw this boy sitting in the cafe with his mum and sister. I noticed he was carrying the toy I had found in the gallery. I told him I was glad he got his toy back. I asked him how old they were, he was six years old  and his sister was ten. The boy said his birthday was on the 27th December. I told him my nephew's birthday was also on that day. Letting Go of Grievance

Last night while I was working at  this concert, most of the guests I met were friendly and polite, but there was one particular guest who was challenging. After the event finished, I reported the experience to the duty manager and let it go, or so I thought. When I woke up this morning, the guest was still in my head. I asked God to help me let go of any grievance I was holding. I was reminded of Ephesians 4: 31-32.  Thank God for the Bible, which has the answer to every problem we have in this world. ❤️ ----- Related Bible verses: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
