Trusting in God to Work Everything Out

The last time I was working at this particular gallery, it took me 30 minutes to walk from the tube station and I arrived 5 minutes before my shift started, which is extremely late for me.

Before my next shift, I was notified that part of the tube line that I normally use will be closed at the weekend  for engineering works. I wondered how lomg it was going to take to get to work this time?

My next shift was going to finish at 6.30pm and the gallery is located in a park that closes at 4.30pm. The adjacent park closes at 12midnght.  That means I could walk through that park. They currently have a winter event going on at that park which means it will be crowded at night.  I don't fancy walking through that crowd.

When I checked the alternative routes, I was inspired to  take a different tube line, get off at another tube station and catch a bus. From the bus stop, it took about 5 minutes to walk to the gallery. I arrived an hour early.

I killed time by going for a walk around the park. It was quite breezy, but I didn't mind it.  I later discovered there was a storm going on in parts of the UK. We didn't have it quite as bad in London, thank God. (The storm did hit London the next day).

After work, I walked to the bus stop and caught the first bus to another tube station. As I didn't have any food at home, at the tube station  I was able to go to my favourite store and buy some food to last me for a few days.

When I arrived home, I discovered my flatmate had bought me a microwave meal, which means I have an extra day of food. She had also bought my favourite fruit drink as well.

There really is no need to worry about stuff. As Jesus teaches us, our Father knows that we have need of these things and will take care of them. We just need to seek Him first. (Mathew 6: 31-33).

Thank you, God, for making everything work out for good. ❤️

"Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Matthew 6: 31' 33
