Let Me Out!

When my flatmate's cat, Zeus, stood near the door leading to the back garden, I thought I'd have some fun with him first.

"Do you want to.go out?"

He stared at me.

"Go on, say please," I said. "Tell me you want to go out."

I then turned round to do the washing-up in the sink. 

Suddenly, I heard "Go out" behind me.  

"Did you just say "go out"?" I said. "What a clever boy!"

I then opened the door and let him out.

I wish I had my phone to record him! 😄

An Easy Day

Before I went to work at this museum, I thanked God for an easy, fun and wonderful day. Half of my time was spent working in the gallery, where I was invigilating, and in the shop serving customers.  Although it was really busy with a constant flow of visitors and kids, I found it easy as God was working in me and through me My work colleagues were also very nice and helpful and I enjoyed working with them. I also enjoyed chatting to the parents and their kids. While I was tidying up an area of the gallery, I found this soft toy and I gave it to a colleague to look after. Later, I saw this boy sitting in the cafe with his mum and sister. I noticed he was carrying the toy I had found in the gallery. I told him I was glad he got his toy back. I asked him how old they were, he was six years old  and his sister was ten. The boy said his birthday was on the 27th December. I told him my nephew's birthday was also on that day. Letting Go of Grievance

Last night while I was working at  this concert, most of the guests I met were friendly and polite, but there was one particular guest who was challenging. After the event finished, I reported the experience to the duty manager and let it go, or so I thought. When I woke up this morning, the guest was still in my head. I asked God to help me let go of any grievance I was holding. I was reminded of Ephesians 4: 31-32.  Thank God for the Bible, which has the answer to every problem we have in this world. ❤️ ----- Related Bible verses: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
