God is Constantly at Work

"This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118: 24

----

When I woke up, I thanked God for the new day.

As I was getting ready for work,  I kept declaring that every single moment comes from God and He is in control.

Before our shift started, we had to have our usual briefing. After the duty manager gave us our briefing sheets, I checked to see where I was working and who I was working with. I recognised my partner's name as she used to work for my agency. I thought it would be nice to work with her.

After the briefing finished, my work partner told me we were no longer working together as she had swapped her shift with another colleague. It turned out  to be someone I had worked with recently and I had enjoyed it.

Today's "performance" was a graduation ceremony which we were hosting. My colleague and I were working at the graduands' entry point. We had to make sure they had their tickets. I let the graduands in and my colleague showed them to their seats.

As a lot of graduands came with their guests, I had to keep redirecting their guests to their allocated seats upstairs.

While the graduation ceremony was on, my friend and I shared our experiences including our faith. I even shared my blog with her.  I really enjoyed her company.

After the ceremony ended, we had a debrief withnthe duty manager. I discovered  some guests had been very rude to certain staff. One of them was the colleague I was meant to work with before she swapped with my friend.

Although I was sorry my  colleague had had  a challenging shift, I was happy I got to work with a kindred spirit.

Thank you, Lord, for always making everything work out for good. ❤️
